5. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hide Scary Illusion

You probably see angry face on the left and calm face on the right. Now step away from your computer screen. You should see the two faces swap over! This hybrid image was created by Phillippe G. Schyns and Aude Oliva of the University of Glasgow. It proves that we may not be seeing what's actually there, all the time.

6. Beautiful Girl Afterimage

Stare at the red dot on the girl's nose for 30 seconds. Then look at the ceiling (or any white surface) and blink really quickly a few times. You will be amazed to see a colorful girl.

7. Identical Colors

Surface color of both A and B parts is identical. Just use a finger to cover the place where both parts meet and you'll see.

8. Ponzo Illusion

Both green lines have the same length. This Ponzo illusion uses the fact that human brain interpretes the image with perspective, however, it's just a simple 2D image.

Our prior experience with perspective simply lies to us with similar 2D pictures as you can see in the following size illusions.
